Regina Terrace – 3 storey mid terrace complete refurbishment and rear extension £210,000.00
This mid-terrace refurbishment project involved the comprehensive transformation of an existing residential property, with a focus on enhancing both functionality and living space. The scope of works included a full internal renovation alongside the construction of a rear extension, designed to create a more open, modern layout suited to contemporary living.
The refurbishment element required careful stripping back of the existing structure while preserving key structural components. Internal layouts were reconfigured to improve flow and maximize usable space, including the installation of new partition walls, upgraded flooring systems, and modernized electrical and plumbing services. Attention was given to improving thermal efficiency through upgraded insulation and high-performance windows.
The rear extension formed a central feature of the project, extending the ground floor footprint to accommodate a spacious open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area. Foundations were carefully installed to suit ground conditions, followed by the construction of a durable superstructure that seamlessly integrates with the existing building. Large glazed openings were incorporated to increase natural light and provide a strong visual connection to the garden.
Externally, materials were selected to complement the original property while introducing a contemporary finish, ensuring the extension remained sympathetic to the surrounding terrace. Internally, high-quality finishes and fittings were used throughout to achieve a cohesive and modern aesthetic.
Throughout the project, coordination between trades and adherence to programme timelines were key to successful delivery. The result is a significantly enhanced property that combines traditional structure with modern design, improved energy efficiency, and increased living space, adding both functional and market value.
